Many of our guests return several times a year to enjoy the different North Florida seasons.

Florida?s Northwest Panhandle between Tallahassee and Panama City is somewhat cooler than the rest of the state due to its latitude and proximity to the Gulf of Mexico. There are a significant number of days November - March when the combination of sea breezes and prevailing winds from the north force cold air into the area. The Panhandle also receives the most rain of any region in the state. In summertime there is abundant sunshine. The chance of showers and thunderstorms can be expected anytime of the year, although the rainy season generally runs May - September, with August and September being the wettest months.
